EGA Chapter Promotion

5 Ways to Promote your local EGA Chapter


1. Carry and hand out your EGA Chapter business card ~ (VistaPrint.com) to:

  • Women/men who are stitching in public
  • Leave a card in the needlework section of Chain Stores like ~ AC Moore/Michaels
  • At tradeshows and festivals
  • Local Needlework Stores
  • Classes, Retreats, Sales, Get Togethers, etc.
  • To anyone who expresses an interest in needlework


2. Donate old Needlearts (include a EGA Chapter sticker~ VistaPrint.com) to:

  • Your doctor’s office
  • Local School library
  • Local Boys and Girls Club
  • Local Needlework Shop
  • Your Hairdresser/Nail tech waiting room


3. Stitch or carry your work in Public

  • Join LTS* ~ Stitch your Heart out day 2.14.10
  • Contact other chapters to join LTS national stitch day
  • Promote your local EGA Chapter, EGA nationally and heart health
  • Carry your stitching everywhere you go, stitch in public
  1. Waiting rooms
  2. At the kids games
  3. During lunch at work
  4. In the mall
  5. At the book store


4. Contact local businesses/companies to showcase our work and social networks

  • Library display case
  • School display
  • Needlework Shop Window Display
  • Mall Display
  • Create EGA Blog, Facebook page and Twitter account



5. Contact Local Needlework Shops to display your EGA Chapter business cards and chapter info and secure discount for members in exchange for ad placed in our chapter newsletter.

Philadelphia Area EGA Chapter Membership Perks

With the state of the economy being a top priority in many households today, the Philadelphia Area EGA board felt the need to help provide our members savings on the supplies they love and use the most.
